9月9日梅村開始為期3個月的雨季安居，在上村舉行了對首儀式。
雨季安居是佛在世時的傳統，每年佛陀和僧尼會在雨季期間安住一處精勤修習。
今年，超過1300位來自世界各地的朋友會在線上與我們一起修習3個月，聯同在梅村的僧尼和居士，總共1500人。安居的主題為「梅村之寶藏」，法師將講解梅村課誦本中的經文。週日的開示將會在線上直播，詳情見於梅村中文Facebook。
Counting Sticks Ceremony to count the number of persons who will commit to practice together with the Sangha for three months. 
One stick represents the Kitchen Inspector Bodhisattva who supports us with good health throughout the three months. 
Each stick also represents an aspiration of each person to deepen their practice in the Rains Retreat. 
How happy it is to be with and to practice with the Sangha.
This counting stick certifies, ninety days of mindfulness practice.
The Face-to-Face Ceremony at Upper Hamlet began with the powerful sound of the Prajna drum and bell. 
Our Teacher, Thay, is also present in each of us. 
The Abbot, Abbess and representative of the Abbess of each hamlet requested to take refuge in the representatives of Our Teacher, Thay. 
The whole Sangha requested to take refuge in the practice of the elder brothers and sisters.
